Regular Events: "Thought Club"
In our so-called "Thought Club" we meet to discuss theoretical readings that we have selected during out meetings - either theories pertaining to our respective theses or works we always wanted to read, but never had the time to or never felt we could tackle alone. If you are interested in joining and want further information, please send us an email. Again, we also welcome fellow scholars from disciplines other than American Studies!
Currently we are reading Foucault's The Archaeology of Knowledge (approximately until May). The preliminary schedule for our meetings is:
February 19: Intro and Chapter 1
March 19: Chapters 2-7
April 16: Part III (complete)
May 14: Part IV (complete) + conclusion
